Donations for School Uniforms

Yuma High School has implemented a school uniform policy.  Given the additional financial responsibility this may place on some families, a 'clothes closet' for those demonstrating financial need.  If you would like to donate navy blue, white or tan polo shirts in adult sizes or navy or khaki pants for teens or adult sizes, it would be greatly appreciated.  Donations will be accepted at Yuma High School, 400 South 6th Avenue from 7: am to 4: pm on any business day, or at KCFY 88.1 FM during business hours.

Lunchtime Leisure

On Friday, August 15th, from Noon to 1: pm, the Yuma Art Center will be hosting its Lunchtime Lecture.  You are invited to bring your lunch and spend an hour at the Yuma Art Center Galleries while enjoying a free lecture or performance twice a month.  Admission is free.  August 15th will host Betsy Gottsponer on 'Discover Your Family History'.

Compakto In Concert

Compakto, a popular music group from Mexicali, B.C. will be in concert at the Historic Yuma Theatre on Friday, August 15th at 7: pm.  Tickets are avaialbe at The Yuma Art Center.  Phone 373-5202 for more information.
