Cub Scout 55 Flag Placing
Cub Scout Pack 55 will be setting up their Remembrance Flag display of 151 American Flags at the Elk's Lodge BPOE 476, 2300 S. Elks Lane off 24th St. in the dirt lot across from YRMC on Monday, May 25th Memorial Day. The Cub Scouts will start placing flags at sunrise and they will remain up until sunset when they will come down and be put away for another day. Flags are still available and will be at the Elk's Lodge all day for those who would like to sponsor a flag. Each flag sponsor cost $10.00 and will be hung upon completion of the sponsorship form and will remain up for the day. Memorial Day Service
American Legion Post 19, 2575 S. Virginia Drive, will be hosting a BBQ, dance and raffle drawings. Music by Freddy Tesso. Public is invited and urged to attend. For more info call 344-3441 or 446-5656. Tickets are $7/adults & $3.50/children.

The 2nd Annual Yuma Jaycees Memorial Day Support Our Troops BBQ
The 2nd Annual Yuma Jaycees Memorial Day Support Our Troops BBQ will be held on Monday, May 25th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jaycee's Clubhouse, 2577 E. County 14th St. There will be free food and drinks, games for the kids and live entertainment. This event is for the community to come out and say "Thank You" to our fighting men and women and show their support for what they do. Donations are being accepted for items to put in care packages to send the troops. Drop boxes are located at Navy Federal Credit Union on Arizona Avenue and Crazy L Feed and Tack, 2681 E.
