Online Job Searching Workshop
Jeff Bowman, Foothills Library Manager, and Michael Shelton, Yuma Director of Arizona Linkages, will conduct a one-hour workshop about online job searching at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 26th at the Foothills Library, 13226 E. South Frontage Road.  The workshop will cover how to open an account on popular job searching websites, how to post a resume, and provide information on navigating other employment related websites.  There is no charge to attend.  For more information, please contact Jeff Bowman at 373-6509.

Yuma Jaycees Benefit
The Yuma Jaycees are holding a benefit roping and barrel racing this weekend, June 26th and 27th at the Yuma County Mounted Posse Arena located off of Ave C and County 14th St.  All proceeds will be going to the 1999 Yuma Jaycees Silver Spur Rodeo Chairman, Bill Olague, who was injured at this year's rodeo parade due to his horse getting spooked and falling on him.  He suffered broken bones in his arm and leg and has had numerous setbacks.  Funds raised will help pay for medical and living expenses while he recovers. Roping event will be on both days and barrel racing will only be on Saturday.  Events begin after 7 p.m. on both nights.  A tri tip dinner will be served for $5 per plate.  Pre sale dinner tickets can be purchased at Crazy L Feed and Tack, 2681 E.
