Car Wash/Donation Drive

VIP For Christ Orphans Ministries will be hosting a car wash on Saturday, July 18 at 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Rally's Hamburgers Parking Lot, 2380 S. 4th Ave to raise funds for a children's home for orphans in Mexicali, Mexico (Casa Hogar-Fundacion Emanuel).  Come get a wash and support our ministry!!!  No price just donations.

Yuma First Church of th Nazarene Car Wash

Yuma First Church of the Nazarene is having a car wash Saturday, July 18th at Audio Einstein's located on the corner of 24th St & 4th Ave from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The car wash is to raise funds for a community outreach event call CHILLAPLOOZA taking place in October.

Book Signing

Former Yuma resident, Liz Johnson will be signing copies of her new novel, The Kidnapping of Kenzie Thorn, at Hastings on Saturday, July 18th from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and at First Christian Church on Sunday, July 19th and 26th after the 9:30 a.m.& 11:00 a.m. services.  The community is invited to come out to meet and chat with Liz, a home-town author and Cibola graduate.
