Burgers for Books!

The Heritage Library, 350 Third Avenue, is offering kids burgers for books!  Drop by the Children's Department on Saturday, August 22nd between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and earn a coupon for a free hamburger or cheeseburger (while supplies last) by creating a book poster.  Participation is easy....If you are 7yrs old or younger: read a picture book or beginning reader book, and create a book poster.  If you are 8-12 yrs old read 2 chapters of a fiction chapter book and create a book poster.  Or, find 5 interesting facts in a non-fiction book and create a book poster.  Coupons are limited to one per child.  For more information, call the Heritage Library at 373-6517.

Books to Benefit Ballet

Yuma Ballet Theatre invites you to their Barnes & Noble Book-fair on Saturday, August 22 at 10 a.m.  A percentage of your Barnes & Noble purchase will benefit the Yuma Ballet Theatre.  Barnes & Noble vouchers are available at YBT School of Dance office located in the Southgate Mall.
