National Park Week/Jr. Ranger Day

Saturday, April 24, 9:00am start - Nat'l Park Week/Jr. Ranger Day at Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area. In addition to being part of National Park Week, Saturday, April 24, is also National Junior Ranger Day, and children can take part in kid-friendly activities and earn their very own junior ranger patch!
 

YMC Healthy Kids Day

Saturday, April 24, 9:00am-noon - YMCA Healthy Kids Day at Yuma Family YMCA, 2550 S. 4th Avenue. This is the nation's largest health day for kids and families. Everyone will learn the importance of active play through fun, engaging activities. Events include Zumba for Kids, Kid's Boot Camp, Bounce House, Obstacle Course, healthy snacks, educational info and lots of fun! Healthy Kids Day is FREE and open to the public. Youth Band Fundraiser

Yuma First Assembly of God, 3000 Ave B, will hold a fundraiser for their youth band called The Chosen. Pollo Con Disco (chicken fried on a disc) will be served along with beans, salad, beverage and dessert all for only $6/ ticket from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 24th.  Entertainment will also be provided by Hispanic Nortena Nuevo Pacto and the youth band.  For more information contact Angie at 246-7328.  All proceeds are to purchase musical equipment for the youth band.
