Ballet Yuma is thrilled to announce the addition of a "Sensory Friendly" performance of The Nutcracker held at McBride Auditorium at Snider Hall.
This performance further expands accessibility by thoughtfully adapting the Nutcracker experience for neurodiverse audience members and their families. With lower music volume, some light left on the audience, buffer seats, and a shush-free environment, this show is designed for anyone with sensory concerns. Audience members are welcome to enter and exit the auditorium as needed, and absolute silence is not a requirement. For our performers, this is just like every other performance except the audience will be visible and audible.
