Crossroads Mission Summer Water Drive
Please help by donating water bottles to Crossroads Mission this summer!
The extreme summer temperatures are here and staying hydrated is a matter of life or death. To help our homeless and the poor, we set up water jugs inside our shelters and outdoors at our main campus for anyone to fill their cups with cool, refreshing water.
We offer free water bottles at our thrift store, and we distribute free cool water at all of our outreach and in-house events. In fact, our shelters and thrift store are official YUMA COOLING STATIONS. We go through water very quickly and we need your help!
Consider having your own water drive to help even more!!

Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area Summer Camp 2026 – July Sessions
Date: July 2026 (Tuesday–Thursday)
Drop-Off: 8:30am
Pick-Up: 12:30pm (required)
Location: Colorado River State Historic Park 201 N 4th Ave, Yuma, AZ

Back by popular demand! Campers can continue the adventure with all-new activities and experiences. While weekly themes remain similar, each session features different lessons, challenges, and projects, so campers who attend multiple weeks will enjoy a completely unique experience every time.

Crossroads Mission is getting ready for school with the "Back to School" drive! Help our family shelter kids feel great and look great this upcoming semester by donating some of the listed items! Consider having your own supply drive to help out even more!
**You can drop off your donations at our family shelter (944 S. Arizona Avenue) from Monday - Sunday, 8 am to 8 pm**
Can't donate in person? Donate towards their purchase! Go to crossroadsmission.org and make a donation. Just add "Back to School drive" to the gift memo field when making your donation.

High School Registration Details
Yuma Union High School District will be conducting registration events at all seven of its school sites for the 2026-27 school year.
All students who plan to attend high school in the fall are required to register. Registration is divided into separate days by cohort and will take place at each school site.
Below are the registration days and times for each cohort:

** The first day of school is Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Classes begin at 7:40 a.m. at Cibola, Gila Ridge, Kofa, Somerton, and Yuma, while San Luis starts at 7:30 a.m. and Vista begins at 8:30 a.m. **
Families who completed online enrollment for their incoming freshman (Class of 2030) do NOT need to complete forms again. However, they are still expected to attend in-person registration to complete the final steps in the process.
Additionally, parents registering siblings who are in separate cohorts may come on a single day and register all children at the same time.
Please note: Vista High School will conduct registration for all students in all grades during the above times.
Pay fees online (recommended): Students and parents can save time in line at registration by prepaying fees online and bringing in a PRINTED RECEIPT to show at registration. Online fee payments can be made on all school websites through MySchool Bucks.
Students returning to the district should be prepared to:
- Verify parent/guardian residency
- Pay picture ID fee ($20). Please note: all students are required to have an ID while on campus.
- Pay course fees at the webstore.
- Pay for any equipment that was not returned the previous year.
If you are a student NEW to the district and have not completed the enrollment process, contact your school to set up an appointment. A list of documents needed for enrollment can be found in the boundaries and enrollment section of YumaUnion.org.
S.N.O.W. SUMMER NIGHTS OF WORSHIP

No-cost Sports Physical Event

YUHSD to host no-cost sports physical event on July 31
Yuma Union High School District, in partnership with Onvida Health, will be hosting a no-cost sports physical event on July 31, 2026 at Cibola High School.
The event is open to all YUHSD student-athletes. Parents/guardians must be in attendance. Doors open at 3:15 p.m. and exams will conclude at 7 p.m.
Exams will be conducted by Onvida Sports Medicine Fellowship Program Director Dr. Ryan Zerr and other medical residents.
A physical is required to participate in Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) competition. All physical examinations completed at the event will cover the student-athlete for the 2026-27 school year.

Don't miss our Shine Bright Celebration on August 23, featuring an extra-special day of fun as we celebrate everything God has done throughout VBS! Shine Bright Family Celebration to include food, games, foam party and snow cones!
We encourage parents to learn what kids are learning in adult form by attending church service while children attend VBS sessions from 10:30-12 snacks will be provided every Sunday
