Yuma's beloved Pumpkin Patch is back and better than ever.
Enjoy hay rides, bounce houses, face painting, concessions,
and more there’s something for everyone! Three weekends of fall fun the whole family will love.
Dates open to the Public:
Opening Weekend: October 10–12
Second Weekend: October 17–19
Final Weekend: October 24–26
Admission: $5 per person + a canned good (benefiting local outreach)

Registration is now open for the City of Yuma Parks and Recreation Department’s free Certified Pool Operator (CPO) training, with 35 spots available. The course will take place Monday, October 27 and Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Yuma Civic Center (1440 W. Desert Hills Drive). Registration closes Tuesday, October 7 at 5 p.m.
Sponsored by the Greater Yuma Water Safety Alliance, this in-person course provides nationally recognized certification for individuals responsible for the safety and operation of public and commercial swimming pools.
Open to aquatic staff, health inspectors, code enforcement officers, and other professionals in the field, the two-day training runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Participants will learn essential knowledge and practices that support water safety, facility maintenance, and public health.

First Christian Church Fall Craft & Vendor Event is on! Please join us at FCC on November 1st from 9am - 1pm to support local Vendors and our own FCC Youth Group!
We will have raffles happening throughout the event, along with a 50/50 raffle for FCC Youth Group Camp Scholarships. There will be many vendors attending with a variety of items to purchase.

As part of our commitment to enriching the community and supporting lifelong learning, the Yuma County Library District is thrilled to announce the launch of our Seed Library at the Heritage Library. With over 1,500 seed packets available, patrons can check out up to five packets per month with a library card, or three without, to start their own gardens. We’ll also be offering gardening classes to promote shared learning, connection, and sustainability.
SEED Library facts:
Anyone can use it, the Seed Library is open to all community members.
Library cardholders can receive up to 5 seed packets per month, while non-cardholders can receive up to 3 packets per month. Seeds are offered based on seasonal growing conditions, and availability is not guaranteed.
The Heritage Seed Library is open during regular business hours.
Patrons must visit the Heritage Branch in person to check out seeds.
Seeds are not available through drive-thru windows, curbside pickup, or at other YCLD locations.
The Seed Library is housed within the Heritage Branch of the Yuma County Library District.
