Our Dog's Day Out program isn't just limited to individuals looking to make a difference in a dog's life. It is also open to businesses willing to take in an office dog for a day or two. Not only is it good socialization for the animal but it can also relieve stress in the work environment. Yuma County Library Invites all Kids and Teens to register, participate, earn rewards and win prizes in the Color Your World Summer Reading 2025 program. Program runs May 31st through July 19th.
There are 2 ways to register: download the beanstalk app or register at your closest library branch by speaking to a staff member.
There are separate programs for: PreK, Early Readers, Pre-Teens, and Teens. Stop by your Yuma County Library Branch to register and learn about the Program and pick up your set of game cards for the Color Our World 2025 summer reading promotion.

During True North VBS, children journey through the Book of Matthew to discover how Jesus is their guiding light, offering unwavering faithfulness throughout life's challenges. Each day focuses on a different Bible story, reinforcing the message that Jesus is always present and dependable in every situation.

The Greater Yuma Water Safety Alliance (GYWSA) is inviting the public to attend Water Safety Day on Saturday, June 7, at the Valley Aquatic Center, (4381 W. 18th St.) This free, family-friendly event offers a day of fun, learning, and drowning prevention education.
Festivities kick off with a Pre-Pool Party from 9 to 11 a.m., featuring music, free hot dogs, giveaways, and interactive water safety booths hosted by local organizations and businesses. The pool will be open for free public swimming from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m

Merry Heart Inc. presents a Father's Day Weekend Comedy Show with family friendly comedian Don Friesen at the Historic Yuma Theater on Main St. in downtown Yuma. Come and enjoy some great laughs on June 14th! Doors open at 5:30pm and the show starts at 6:00pm.
